Why Blood Sugar Levels Change During The Day

Blood sugar levels vary during the day night. Blood sugar levels chnages  due to a number of factors such as those listed below:

1. Eating food means Eating habits.

When we eat, food  break down, glucose is released into the bloodstream ready to be absorbed by cells. Due to any reasons if   glucose in the bloodstream increase is called  higher blood sugar level.

2. Exercise or Physical activity.

We must do exercise and perform physical activity to abosorbs glucose generated due to food we consumes.  Exercise provides many benefits to our body, including burning excess sugar and reducing insulin resistance (by making cells more receptive to insulin, so rather than requiring more insulin to facilitate glucose uptake, the insulin you already have becomes a bit more effective).

However the effect on blood sugar depends on the type of exercise, the duration of exercise, glucose and insulin levels before you start exercising.

3. Remain fit think fit means physiology.

If you have a greater muscle to fat ratio, you will burn energy at a faster rate and therefore be more effective at reducing your blood glucose level.

4. Emotions and stress.

Stress is cause of blood sugar increase. So take good sleep and d meditation and laugh as much as you want and leave healthy live.Means live with diabetes without any complication.

5. Sleeping.

As we all know till today we are not able to rach any conclusion of what is the reasons behind diabetes.  Some research also suggests that not getting enough sleep causes the liver to produce/release more glucose, hence increasing your blood sugar levels.

So take good sleep it really reduce stress and blood sugar.

6. Medications.

Obviously, the medication you take regulates your blood sugar level and therefore your readings during the day, depending on when you took the medication.

Any more point you want to add please write to me and discuss.

Type 1 Diabetes Symptoms

Type 1 Diabetes Symptoms

TYPE 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children and young adults. It was previously known as juvenile diabetes. This type of diabetes is characterized by the loss of the insulin-producing pancreatic islets of langerhans which results in deficiency of the hormone insulin. In the  type 1 diabetes, the body does not produce insulin. Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.

Symptoms of   type 1 diabetes include:

  • Frequent urination (in children, a recurrence of bed-wetting after toilet training has been completed)
  • Unusual thirst, especially for sweet, cold drinks
  • Extreme hunger
  • Sudden, sometimes dramatic, weight loss
  • Weakness
  • Extreme fatigue

How to prevent type 1 diabetes

Definition of type 1 diabetes

Type 1 diabetes is a chronic lifelong disease that occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin to properly control blood sugar levels.

to prevent type 1 diabetes to occure we must follow following points.

Active Exercise

we must do regular exercise to maintain our good health and give strength to our immune system. Exercise control weight and improving blood flow. Exercise is especially important if genetics put you at risk for developing the type 1 diabetes.

Drinking a lot of water and taking fresh vegetables and fruits

Adding lots of fruits and vegetables to your diet will help prevent diabetes. Fresh fruits and vegetables are best, as they have fiber and nothing artificial added. If you eat canned or frozen fruits, avoid ones with sugar or other additives. If eating canned or frozen vegetables, try to use low-salt or no-salt varieties

know Family history

Your chances of developing diabetes later in life increases if you have one or more family members with the disease.

blood pressure

Monitor your blood pressure regularly and take steps to reduce it, if applicable.

So leave a life with happiness and good food plan.

What Causes Diabetes

Well the answer every Diabetic person wants.Over 18 million people in US alone are affected by this dreaded condition, and all almost end up asking the same question-”what causes diabetes”.

well most belived causes we will discuss here

What Causes Diabetes

Diabetes mellitus occurs when the pancreas doesn’t make enough or any of the hormone insulin, or when the insulin produced doesn’t work effectively. In diabetes, this causes the level of glucose in the blood to be too high.

Causes of type 1 Diabetes

This kind of diabetes strikes mostly men, and may have little bit of genetic factor involved in them. This  type 1 Diabetes basically happens when the pancreas stops producing any insulin in the body.

It’s not clear why this happens, but a number of explanations and possible triggers of this reaction have been proposed. These include:

  • Lack of physical exercise
  • infection with a specific virus or bacteria.
  • exposure to food-borne chemical toxins.

Causes of Type 2 Diabetes

This is genetic problem.Means passing them onto there kids. it dose not means that every parent who has diabetes will pass it on to his children.

Some important lifestyle changes that can help you control this condition or even prevent it from appearing are:

Controlling high blood pressure

Keeping your weight under check

doing exercise regularly

eating a lot of fresh vegetable and fruits.

Treatment for type 1:

The principal treatment of diabetes type 1.

1) insulin via injection subcutaneously.

2)  constant monitoring of the blood glucose level.

3) Lifestyle precautions are also very helpful in type 1 diabetes.

The average glucose level for the type 1 patient should be as close to normal (80-120 mg/dl, 4-6 mmol/l) as is safely possible.

what is diabetes

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder where in human body does not produce or properly uses insulin, a hormone that is required to convert sugar, starches, and other food into energy. Diabetes mellitus is characterized by constant high levels of blood glucose (sugar). Human body has to maintain the blood glucose level at a very narrow range, which is done with insulin and glucagon. The function of glucagon is causing the liver to release glucose from its cells into the blood, for the production of energy.
There are three main types of diabetes:

  • Type 1 diabetes
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Gestational diabetes
